The Challenge

SwiftHaul operates a fleet of 500+ trucks. Their manual routing process resulted in suboptimal paths, high fuel consumption, and missed delivery windows. They needed an automated solution that considered traffic, fuel efficiency, and driver shift constraints dynamically.

Our Approach

We implemented a custom VRP (Vehicle Routing Problem) solver using OR-Tools, customized for their specific constraints. This engine runs nightly to plan the next day's routes and updates dynamically throughout the day based on real-time traffic data from Google Maps Platform. We also built a Flutter mobile app for drivers to receive turn-by-turn navigation and proof-of-delivery capabilities.
